And the second phase, when they have an antigenically more accurate second phase vaccine.

KC: Im sorry, Im not understanding you. Are you saying that this virus is part of something that has been given to our troops as a vaccine?

BD: Well, no. Its a separate thing. The one given to our troops is a first phase, called an RNA vaccine, by Sanofi Pasteur. What Dr. Horowitz is showing in his video clip (which you may want to talk to him) -- and I agree its the CDC World Health Organization -- theres direct complicity with them and British recombinant viral biologists thatve actually worked on this project, and he has all the connecting dots.

It fits in with the documentation which I rec... more

Jury Chosen For Brown Weapons, Conspiracy Trial

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 11:45 AM PDT

The Browns, who were convicted of tax evasion in January 2007, face 11 charges relating to a standoff that began during the trial. Nearly 200 jurors were delivered to the federal courthouse in Concord at 8 a.m. Monday.. By 2 p.m., the group had been narrowed down to a jury of 12, plus three alternates. The jury pool was tripled in an effort to seat a panel that had not been tainted by intense media coverage. Each juror was asked three questions and 40 percent of the potential jurors were dismissed based on media exposure to the case........

Debt Deflation in America: What the Jump in the U.S. Savings Rate Really Means

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 11:39 AM PDT

Happy-face media reporting of economic news is providing the usual upbeat spin on Friday's debt-deflation statistics. The Commerce Department's National Income and Product Accounts (NIPA) for May show that U.S. "savings" are now absorbing 6.9 percent of income. I put the word "savings" in quotation marks because this 6.9% is not what most people think of as savings. It is not money in the bank to draw out on the "rainy day" when one is laid off as unemployment rates rise. The statistic means that 6.9% of national income is being earmarked to pay down debt – the highest saving rate in 15 years, up from actually negative rates (living on borrowed credit) just a few years ago. The only way in which these savings are "money in the bank" is that they are being paid by consumers to their banks and credit card companies........

World Globalization of the Banking and Regulatory Structure, Part 2

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 10:04 AM PDT

Concentrating Total Financial Power at the Bank For International Settlements and the Financial Stability Board BASEL, SWITZERLAND - There are those who have been predicting a time when there would appear a world government structure. That time is here. Many, however, have predicted that it would be political in power. That is not necessarily so. Although the United Nations has been an organizing power worldwide to harmonize national law with international law, they do not issue or print money—for that is the role of central banks. With the new and vast empowerments being given to the central banks of the world and with the restructuring of the Financial Stability Board, it appears that world government is financial and economic. The old adage is true, "He who owns the gold makes the rules."

New world order: first trash U.S. banking

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 09:56 AM PDT

American opponents to President Obama's announced re-regulation of the financial sector are billing the issue as capitalism versus socialism or even communism. It is not the case. This is not the economic version of the Cold War and the search for a new architecture does not mark the death of capitalism. In fact, free enterprise was nearly murdered by Wall Street, AIG and other reckless financial institutions. They did not meet their defined responsibilities. They bent the law to bypass rules governing their behavior. Many of them abandoned traditional banking and got into the gaming business. And they brought the world to the brink in the fall........

Cuyahoga County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora says GOP conspiracy behind corruption probe

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 09:53 AM PDT

Cuyahoga County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora on Monday accused the U.S. Department of Justice of launching its local public corruption probe two years ago in a conspiracy with Republicans to undermine the Democratic turnout for Barack Obama. Dimora said he and his lawyers will ask the Justice Department and Congress to investigate the motives behind the corruption probe, which became public last July when FBI agents raided the commissioner's home and office and the home and office of political ally Frank Russo, the county auditor. "This is a Republican-driven prosecution," Dimora said during a late-afternoon news conference at the county administration building. He said he believes national Republican Party strategist Karl Rove helped initiate the probe........

FDA Confirms Presence of E. Coli in Nestle Cookie Dough

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 09:51 AM PDT

The Food and Drug Administration said yesterday that it had confirmed the presence of E. coli 0157, a deadly strain of bacteria, in samples of Nestlé Toll House refrigerated cookie dough produced at the company's plant in Danville, Va. Investigators did not find the bacterium inside the factory or on equipment but in a tub of chocolate cookie dough made at the site in February, said David Acheson, assistant commissioner for food safety at the FDA. The dough had a June 10 expiration date. Nestlé voluntarily recalled 30,000 cases of its refrigerated cookie dough on June 19 after officials at the FDA and the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suspected that dozens of cases of E. coli-related illness were linked to the product.

Doctors warn against 'swine flu parties'

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 09:51 AM PDT

LONDON, England (CNN) -- Health experts are warning parents against holding "swine flu parties" in the hope of infecting their children with the H1N1 virus. Talk of swine flu parties has emerged on Internet forums. The idea is that exposing a child to the H1N1 virus while it remains relatively mild will give the child immunity if the virus returns in a more virulent form later on. The idea is an extension of chicken pox and measles parties that were once a popular way of exposing children to those diseases so that they might acquire resistance to subsequent infections. But health officials have been quick to condemn the idea. Speaking at a conference, Dr Richard Jarvis, chairman of the British Medical Association's public health committee, said "I have heard of reports of people throwing swine flu parties. I don't think it is a good idea........

Bernanke Threatens Economic Collapse If Fed Audited

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 09:43 AM PDT

Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke unleashed an alarming veiled threat of financial terrorism when he was questioned by Rep. Duncan on Thursday about his response to the fact that a majority of Congress co-sponsoring Ron Paul's H.R. 1207 bill to audit the Federal Reserve. Bernanke clearly regarded the bill's intent as hostile to the institution he represents: "My concern about the legislation is that if the GAO is auditing not only the operational aspects of the programs and the details of the programs but making judgments about our policy decisions would effectively be a takeover of policy by the Congress and a repudiation of the Federal Reserve would be highly destructive to the stability of the financial system, the Dollar and our national economic situation." video

"Civil Rights" Group Begs for Martial Law

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 09:35 AM PDT

Reacting to a recent uptick in violent crime — which, as Gerald Celente has warned, is a predictable social consequence of the ongoing economic collapse — the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania chapter of the NAACP has petitioned Governor Ed Rendell "to suspend some civil liberties and impose martial law in the city," reports the Harrisburg Patriot-News. In the past month, there have been a dozen shootings in Harrisburg, many of them committed in broad daylight. This prompted NAACP chapter president Stanley Lawson to demand that Rendell deploy the National Guard in the city for at least 30 days and to impose a curfew. "We're beyond what the Harrisburg police department can do," Lawson said at a recent meeting at the Capitol Presbyterian Church. "We need help." Apparently, the "civil rights" group considers it improper to encourage people to exercise the most elemental individual right — that of armed self-defense — and prefers the course of serfdom, albeit on a "limited" basis. Stanley Mitchell, an attorney who also belongs to the Harrisburg NAACP chapter, acknowledged that the group was requesting a "short suspension of some civil rights," but insisted that "We have the civil rights [sic] not to be shot." Of course, under martial law — as even the most casual observer of the Iraq occupation would recognize — that is the first "civil right" to be taken away: Civilians render instant, unqualified obedience to the men in uniform or face the prospect of being shot immediately. The local NAACP hasn't explained how that would be a moral or practical improvement over the present situation in Harrisburg.

Thousands still in FEMA trailers

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 09:31 AM PDT

NEW ORLEANS — Four years since the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, there are still nearly 3,000 mobile homes and trailers across the Gulf Coast housing victims of that disaster. In Louisiana, there are 2,100 families living in trailers, most of them homeowners struggling to rebuild their homes, according to figures released by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Mississippi has 781 families in trailers. The numbers are down considerably from the 134,000 temporary trailers and mobile homes that dotted the Gulf Coast immediately after Katrina slammed the area in August 2005, leading to nearly 1,800 dead and thousands more homeless. Some trailer dwellers are also victims of Hurricanes Gustav and Ike, which hit Louisiana last summer.

Guard to seek volunteers for border

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 09:30 AM PDT

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Obama administration is developing plans to seek up to 1,500 National Guard volunteers to step up the military's counter-drug efforts along the Mexican border, senior administration officials said Monday. The plan is a stopgap measure being worked out between the Defense Department and the Homeland Security Department, and comes despite Pentagon concerns about committing more troops to the border — a move some officials worry will be seen as militarizing the region. Senior administration officials said the Guard program will last no longer than a year and would build on an existing counter-drug operation. They said the program, which would largely be federally funded, would draw on National Guard volunteers from the four border states. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because the details have not been finalized........

Common heart abnormality linked to risks

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 09:26 AM PDT

The abnormality, called an increased PR interval, "is fairly common in healthy people. We see it often in clinical practice and typically assume that it is a benign finding," said Dr. Thomas J. Wang of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, the lead author. .....But the condition is also seen in people with congenital heart disease and other problems, "so we know that it is not always so benign," Wang said. The PR interval is the time it takes for an electrical signal emitted by the heart's natural pacemaker to spread from the upper chambers of the heart to the lower chambers. A PR interval of less than 200 microseconds is considered normal.........

Is the Fed Juicing the Stock Market?

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 09:09 AM PDT

Why has the stock market been on a 3-month tear when the economy is undergoing the worst economic contraction since the Great Depression? The S&P 500 has shot up 40% from its low on March 9 and the Dow Jones Industrials have followed close behind. Is this a typical bear market rally or is the invisible hand of the Fed goosing the markets? Everyone seems to agree that the Fed's multi-trillion dollar quantitative easing (QE) is the jet-fuel that's put stocks into orbit. But how is the money filtering into the market? read more

Worldwide Depression: Review of Global Markets

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 09:08 AM PDT

As you have already seen this is a worldwide depression and no one will escape. Europe's economy is already in a shambles as is the US economy. Inflation will rage all over the world, because every nation has created massive amounts of money and credit as demanded by US and British elitists. They have all overmedicated the patient. As the Broadway hit play of many years ago told us, we are going to have to go through a "Period of Adjustment." Some nations will get off easier than others. There will be no decoupling and many nations could have revolutions. Government spending and increased debt has been taken on by all countries and to in part pay for that taxes will rise everywhere. Deficits will hit records as far as the eye can see. You can't have massive spending, massive debt and massive tax increases and expect to have growth. It is impossible. Thus far government has been able to paper over the systemic meltdown in the financial area. They still haven't dealt with off balance sheet and derivative losses. Even with the trillions poured into these entities it has not been enough to solve their problems and over the next few years that will become obvious........

One in Four Mortgage Defaults Are "Strategic": People Who Could Make Their Payments Are Choosing to Default Instead

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 08:43 AM PDT

It is easier to dump a home loan if a friend has done so too HOUSE prices in America have fallen so far that as many as one in five households have mortgage debt greater than the value of their homes. In a few states, borrowers are not liable for the shortfall between an unpaid loan and the resale value of the home it is secured upon. Even where borrowers are on the hook, lenders often find it too costly to pursue unpaid debts. So some homeowners may be tempted to default and escape the burden of negative equity. How widespread is this practice? New research* based on a survey of 1,000 homeowners suggests that one in four mortgage defaults are "strategic"—by people who could meet their payments but who choose not to. The main drivers of strategic default are the scale of negative equity, and moral and social considerations. Few would opt to renege on their mortgage if the equity gap were below 10% of their home's value, the authors find, partly because of the costs of moving. But one in six would bail out if loans were underwater by a half........

Coca-Cola's Troubling History: Drug Addicts, Nazis and MLK's Condemnation

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 08:41 AM PDT

Coke is like a little bottle of sparkle-dust.' Inside the Happiness Factory, The Coca-Cola Company 'documentary' The morning is cheerfully cold, a lovely Southern winter's day in Atlanta; the sun makes not one bit of difference to the temperature but it shines bright across the clear blue sky. A few police officers stand around Pemberton Park in the city centre, coats zipped up and wearing hats with earmuffs that dangle down each side of their heads, gently reducing them from figures of authority to parodies of Elmer Fudd. They drink coffee, smile and nod as I wander past. This is the entrance to The World of Coca-Cola and somewhere discreet loudspeakers are playing Coke's most memorable advertising jingle, 'I'd like to buy the world a Coke.' Which may explain the earmuffs. I like to think the company plays this song as a hymn of thanks to the Atlanta Development Authority who gave them $5.4 million to help pay for the park landscaping and the entrance plaza, or the City Council who scrapped $1.5 million worth of sales tax for the company, or indeed the property tax worth $2 million that the Atlanta city fathers decided they didn't want Coca-Cola to pay. Coke might be worth billions but they are not averse to sticking out their hand for loose change, especially when the loose change has six noughts at the end of it.........

Papers Alleging Racketeering by LA Superior Court Judges and Countrywide Are Denied Docketing in U.S. Court

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 08:39 AM PDT

In Zernik v Melson et al (1:2009cv00805), filed May 1, 2009, Plaintiff claims that USDOJ and FBI allow severe abuse of civil rights of the 10 million residents of LA County, California, for years. The complaint alleges widespread corruption of the courts in LA County, California, going back at least as far as 1980's and the Iran-Contra scandal. Relief is sought in orders "to compel U.S. officers to perform their duties". IN THE CRIMINAL COURTS IN LA: The Rampart-corruption investigation, a 2-year (1998-2000), 200-investigator probe, ended, but no report was ever written... The victims, the Rampart-FIPs (falsely imprisoned persons), estimated in PBS broadcast from 2001 at 8,000 to 30,000, are still locked up 10 years later. Hardly any of the perpetrators (70-80 police officers per media reports) were prosecuted. IN THE CIVIL COURTS IN LA: Att Richard I Fine, former U.S. prosecutor, is indefinitely jailed in LA on contempt after leading the efforts to expose that ALL judges in LA Superior Court received and never disclosed for years payments, which were ruled in October 2008 "Not Permitted" and would be called by a lay person "bribes".........

Commentary: Health care outrage goes uncovered

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 08:36 AM PDT

(CNN) -- You probably have never heard of Robin Beaton, and that's what's wrong with the debate over health care reform. Beaton, a retired nurse from Waxahachie, Texas, had health insurance -- or so she thought. She paid her premiums faithfully every month, but when she was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer, her health insurance company, Blue Cross, dumped her. The insurance company said the fact that she had seen a dermatologist for acne, who mistakenly entered a notation on her chart that suggested her simple acne was a precancerous condition, allowed Blue Cross to leave her in the lurch. Beaton testified before a House subcommittee this week. So did other Americans who thought they had insurance but got the shaft. As Karen Tumulty of Time magazine (who has been the journalistic conscience of health care coverage) wrote, other witnesses included........

Ethiopian church speaks out on Ark of the Covenant

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 08:33 AM PDT

There was considerable confusion last week when the leader of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church apparently told an Italian news agency of an upcoming announcement about the possible public display of the Ark of the Covenant – the box holding the Ten Commandments – and then the prescribed time passed with no word. However, there was no equivocation today in an e-mail received by WND from the webmaster of a church website in response to an inquiry about the truth of the matter. "It is not going to happen so the world has to live with curiosity," said the statement, signed only "Webmaster" in response to the WND inquiry. The webmaster statement described the tempest as being caused either because of a translation mistake or "a slip [of the] tongue from the patriarch." read more

Health Insurance Insider: 'They Dump the Sick'

Posted: 30 Jun 2009 08:14 AM PDT

Frustrated Americans have long complained that their insurance companies valued the all-mighty buck over their health care. Today, a retired insurance executive confirmed their suspicions, arguing that the industry that once employed him regularly rips off its policyholders. "[T]hey confuse their customers and dump the sick, all so they can satisfy their Wall Street investors," former Cigna senior executive Wendell Potter said during a hearing on health insurance today before the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation. Potter, who has more than 20 years of experience working in public relations for insurance companies Cigna and Humana, said companies routinely drop seriously ill policyholders so they can meet "Wall Street's relentless profit expectations." read more
